Have drunk the excellent ale and enjoyed the great atmosphere and hospitality in this place a number of times over the years. This time me and my two sons, (11 and 13 year olds) stayed for a couple of nights. The room was great, one double bed and two singles in an adjoining room. Very comfortable with a decent en... More

This is the North Riding Brewery brew pub and offers a good selection of real ales and reasonably prices. Traditional two room boozer that apparently also offers accommodation. Real ale well kept. Pets welcomed as evidenced by a little furry chap in the back bar. Some board games available to wile away the hours if needed.

This is one of the best Real Ale Pubs in Scarborough, Stuart the Landlord has a micro Brewery based on the outskirts of town , he sells everything he can produce, consistently great craft beers. If you enjoy Real Ale then look no further

this hotel on the quiet side of town is a rare find. it combines a traditional street corner locals pub with superb home brewed beer and a proper old fashioned hotel that is homely and welcoming. just the sort of base you would want for a mini break at the seaside. stuart and karen are the friendliest of mine hosts,... Stayed here for one night with my fiancé and our dog. The double room we had was basic but spotlessly clean, as was the en-suite bathroom. We had chosen this more because it accepted dogs rather than the fact of it having its own brewery. We did go into the bar in the evening and I had a lovely Farmhouse... More

I stayed over night with my children and wife on the 27th August. We stopped In the family room. It was very clean and spacious. The bar down stairs was well stocked and had a fantastic selection of real ale and craft beer. The land lord and land lady made us feel very welcome!

Came to stay for 3 nights with my partner. We were very happy with the room, beer and food. The owners are very friendly and helpful. No noise from the pub in our room during the night. We will definitely be coming to stay again!!

Great selection of local beer for the connoisseur, no atmosphere to speak of but welcoming and good service. Stayed for 4 pints before tiredness set in. Definitely recommended.

Not been here for a couple of years and looking forward to a couple of nice beers after the cricket, what a let down. First beer ended up being our last. There is an understanding in decent real ale pubs that one can ask for a small taste of a beer before buying to check if one likes it, not... More

I have drank many fine beers from this micro brewery . This was my first visit, it won't be my last. No frills, old fashioned hostelry that brews it's own magnificent beers. I went in with my son, and we played pool while I tried some wonderful beer. If I wasn't 100 miles away, this would be my local.
