My first visit to this Sea life centre and was very impressed with the different species of fish, seals and penguins, but found the restaurant very expensive, Cheese and Tomato Panini £4.95 and a 750ml bottle of water £2.00 Take your own its cheaper

Dear Stuart W Thanks very much for your recent review. We are so pleased to learn that you were impressed with the exhibitions and variety of marine species on display. We note your feedback surrounding Panini prices, to confirm this price of £4.95 includes a tub of Pringles and a drink which we feel represents good value for money. Our... More

As it's half term I let my younger sister choose where to go for a 'day out'. She picked to go to the Sealife Centre (worst day to choose it really as it was blowing a gale and pouring it down). So I rang the centre just to double check it was still open, which it was but they might... More

I have been to the Sea Life Centre a number of times and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. There's so much to see - fish, rays, sharks, turtles, octopuses, penguins, seals, otters etc. with opportunities to see all of the creatures up close. The penguins, seals and otters are located outside. Plenty of general and personal information is provided about... More

We love Sea Life and we have previously written a five star review. So much so that we decided to purchase an annual pass. There was confusion over whether our four children needed individual photo passes. By the way, they do! It seems to be a common misconception because our children, along with other peoples' children, were sent upstairs to... More

Really helpful staff. Ruth in particular was really helpful in talking us through stuff and helping us find our way

Fantastic three hours playing pirate crazy golf followed by the Sealife Centre, all for £13.50 per person. Lots to see and learn. Particularly loved the octopuses, otters and seals. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

We visited sealife to see the new Octopus hideout exhibit, the kids absolutely loved it.The staff here are lovely and very knowledgeable about their inhabitatnts which is really good when you have inquisitive kids. We played a couple of rounds of pirate golf too and the lady who was outside spent ages chatting to the kids and even gave them... More

Visited here with 2 children aged 3 & 4. We payed a special price of £38 for us all. The price should of been £60 which is a ridiculous amount for a very very short visit. A couple of decent things to see but neither us or the kids where very impressed. Star of the show was probably the octopus.... More

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review SEALIFE Scarborough. I am really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit - we believe our price is reflective of all the great animals we have to see! Did you see our beautiful rescue seals? Or our 22 humbolt penguins? Kind regards, Steph More

Overall we enjoyed our trip to the sea life centre. It had interesting displays and talks throughout the day. As a family the outdoor animals (penguins, otters and seals) were a particular highlight. Had we paid full price to get in we would have felt dissatisfied with value-but prebooking saved us a lot and made us feel it was worth... More
