The 1st time I've visited this park for nearly 50 years with happy memories of my childhood but my memory deceived me. Not much to do and my 5 year old Grandson was not at all impressed

Bit disappointed to be honest. Had a nice walk round park but that was it. I thought it would have a play park for kids. it was very busy so obviously people like visiting but not for us.

This was a lovely park with a lake. It was very imaginatively designed and based on the willow pattern story. So very Japanese in style with a pagoda and Japanese garden. There US a water battle on the lake 3 times a week and sounds like great fun. There, are pedalos and canoes for hire and pitch and putt is available... More

We had a walk around the park and stopped for a lovely rhubarb & crumble ice cream at a price of £1.40, excellent price and loads of ice cream given. We went on the dragon pedalo,s which were fun for 30 mins. Definitely worth a walk round and it's free

A miniature putting green, a floating band stand and a lovely cafe. We saw a mixed choir giving an accomplished performance this afternoon. Apparently this is a... More

Bit rainy but otherwise quite good. Kids enjoyed rowing boats. Gardens well kept and toilets OK, despite nonstandard seats.
