Looks lovely and very well kept. Bit of a climb, not easy for elderly and wheelchairs. Lovely tea shop close by.

Having visited Scarborough a number of times I had never ventured along South cliff until this year when I discovered the Italian Garden. What a beautiful peaceful area to stroll through or just sit on a bench and enjoy.

We walked through the gardens to get to the sea front from the top and came back via the cabke car. There are quite a few steps so be aware but there may be an alternative path. The setting is really pretty and peaceful.

Lovely gardens to visit if you want a bit of tranquility. The flower beds are beautiful and there are slopes for disabled access.

No. The Grand is in the town, the Italian Gardens are on the South Cliff. Cross the Spa bridge and you're on the South Cliff, 400ms and you'll find the Gardens on the left. Enjoy
