Scarborough's Open Air Theatre is the largest in Europe, with the original being built by Scarborough Corporation in the 1930s. Since the open air theatre was re-launched in 2010 by Her Majesty the Queen, after a £3.5M refurbishment. Over the last few years, Scarborough Open Air Theatre has played host to some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Elton John, Jessie J, Boyzone, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, JLS, Status Quo and McFly to name a few. Went to see tom jones in concert with my friend who is now cancer free she has never seen him before and was amazed with him ive seen tom 93 time and we want to wish him well

A superb venue, holding over 7000 seats with great views from most seats. Much closer than normal concert venues. Well worth a trip if your favourite acts are on

Hi The show we saw [ Michael Ball & Alfie Boe ] lasted 3 hours. It seemed a lot longer as it poured with rain for the entire performance !
