I live in Abu Dhabi which one day will probably import some rolling countryside but for now its barren landscapes makes me yearn for places like Betton Farm and it's cracking views. I wouldn't call it a day out but a good half day if you have a walk round, play in the park, see the animals and for me... More

I bring my 3 year old here all the time. She loves the easy going play park. Seeing some animals up close. Running from slide to slide we spend a couple of hours here. There is a great restaurant and shop here. We usually eat or at least get an ice cream. It is a hit every time and she... More

Really good food served throughout the day, they also have a marquee for weddings etc. The last meal I ate here was the Hearty Farmers Breakfast, it was perfectly cooked, followed by a pot of fruit tea. There is a Honey Bee exhibit too were you can see the life of the honey bee (entrance fee) a shop that sells... More

Lovely farm, interesting for families especially. Outdoor play area for children gave a lot of delight. Animals are nearby - sheep and lambs, pigs, chickens and are all easily viewed by young children. The gift shop stocks the usual things as well as Ice creams etc. The cafe/ restaurant has lovely views over the wolds and you may dine inside... More

We had not been for a while and were surprised at the expansion. A large tented area now covers most of the lawn making the views from the conservatory rather boring. A children free outdoor area has also been established which is quite welcome when small children are in the main dining area. The site is child friendly but this... More

We stopped for afternoon tea and cake on our way back from Scarborough. The cakes were ok, but nothing special. The scones were not freshly baked that day I am sure (a little dry). The service was fine until we wanted the bill and were ready to go. It took half an hour to attract the attention of staff and... More

This farm is lovely for children, there is a play area and a range of farm animals close to path around the farm and also in the play park. The cafe is lovely. The afternoon tea is very good and the main meals are all home cooked with good chunky chips!

had a lovely lunch at the farm. A really nice tearoom with lovely staff and great food. Had to wait a while but as the food is cooked fresh it was worth waiting for. Great value and the honey shop is worth a visit too.

We called here for a coffee on the way back from Scarborough, it was a nice place we had cheese scones too with butter it would have been nice if the scones had been warm but they were not. It took a while for them to bring us the bill we had to ask twice for it

We all thought that the food was very nice, but what really let it down big time was having to wait so long.once we had finished our main courses we had to wait an an eternity to be given the choice of sweets, and for them to arrive at our table, which spoiled an otherwise enjoyable experience.would have been full marks otherwise.
