This is a superb entertainment for smaller children or the young at heart! Not a very long trip but it does go round the back of the stage of the open-air theatre, through a little tunnel and eventually comes out near the sea and stops...More

I visited in July on a sunny Sunday and to my surprise, turned out to be the highlight of my stay. The company running it seem to go out their way to make this an experience from the get go with a friendly conductor, fully...More

Short trip, not a very scenic route but canny for small children. Different types of carriages so you can swap and do a different one each way. Steam engine only runs at weekends but Diesel engine still good.

There is not a bus service that runs from near the Grand Hotel. The best option would be to get a taxi and ask them to bring you up to the ticket office at Peasholm Station. A return ticket would be £3.90
