We stayed at b&b 50 yards from cricket ground entrance. We arrived on a sunday afternoon, the host informed us that there was a university match that day, and that the pavilion bar would be open. We took his advice, admission was free, we had a couple of pints sat in the members area at the front of the pavilion.... More

Very atmospheric, traditional cricket ground. Ground staff and Club Shop THE most friendly and helpful you will come across anywhere in the world. Very Very special place. A must visite attraction especially if you are a Yourkshire cricket fan.

I don't think there's a better place than Scarborough to watch Yorkshire play in the summer. The ground always has a great atmosphere about it and you just feel a lot closer to the action than you do at other grounds. Pay a visit to the Owzat shop as well if you pay a visit, there's always great England/Yorkshire merchandise... More

When the weather's blessing Scarborough and there's a game scheduled then there is, quite simply, nowhere better to watch the game of cricket. My mates and I travel over from t'other side of the country or as Yorkies call it 'The Dark Side' to watch a game and 1000s of others tend to join us on the day. We get... More

Went to watch Yorkshire play in a limited over game. Fantastic ground and a great atmosphere and to make it even better good weather and plenty of sunshine and to top it all Yorkshire won On the downside you will have to be prepared to queue for you drinks, food and ice creams but this doesn't distract too much from... A hugely enjoyable trip to the Cricket, to see the 4-day County Match. Lunch in the Pavilion dining room was of a high standard indeed! Yorkshire unfortunately came second this time ... but you can't win 'em all!

Watched Yorks v Northants. This is a unique cricket ground tucked behind houses. It's beautiful. There is bench seating as well as plastic seating.Maybe take a cushion if you fancy the bench seats. Food wise you can choose from a tea room, fish and chips, burger van which much nicer than a usual burger van and plenty of toilet facilities. If... More

There's nothing finer on a summers day than a game of cricket and where else other than Scarborough cricket ground could you find not only an entertaining game but also outlets selling reasonably priced beer and food. To complete a thoroughly excellent day the White Rose county took the spoils. Looking forward to returning to the next Yorkshire CCC game... More

I've watched cricket at some great grounds over the years but this is my favourite. Come here every year for one of the Yorkshire CC weeks. I've also watched the town club play league cricket here. It's an historic ground with plenty of character - not least because it slopes in two directions - and lots of different angles to... More
