CHARMING
Jul 2021
Lovely gardens to visit in the summer, a nice quiet place to sit and watch the world go by. Centrally located, is close to the tramway and is well maintained and really charming.

Peaceful garden

Paid another visit here on our day trip to Scarborough after lockdown, it is such a lovely peaceful place, to sit and relax away from the busy seafront

Relaxing and with Fairy magic!
Jul 2020
Pleasant gardens to sit on a seat and relax at the south end of town. There are flower beds and shrubberies with a large lawn.

The highlight must be the Fairy garden. It's still good with river, boats and huts but I'm thinking there used to be fairy houses amongst it too? There is a post box where you can deposit letters to the Fairies.

Peaceful garden
Jul 2020
Always holiday in Scarborough, but have never visited this place, so this time we decided to call in. The garden although not very large has lovely flower borders and if you have little children, there is a Fairy garden to see, it's worth a visit

Very pleasant
Mar 2020
Took a while to find this place as a previous reviewer had put the wrong street. Situated at the junction of the Esplanade and Holbeck Road this gard is very pleasant and the little fairy gardenwithin is well worth seeing. Apparently the owner of the house opposite (used as the hospital in the TV programme "The Royal") wanted a better view, so bought the house opposite, demolished it and built this garden

Peaceful and beautiful.
Aug 2019
Situated opposite the putting green and the famous clock tower on the south cliff. These beautiful gardens which are open to the public are tended by Scarborough council and are a true credit to them.Well kept lawns and flower beds and seats all around. No better place to sit on a summers day and enjoy the peaceful ambiance..Even children will enjoy what these gardens have to offer.Maybe even some fairies?.

Quiet and reflection and hide and seek
Oct 2018 • Friends
On a sunny day this is a lovely hidden away place to bring small children for a picnic. There is a beautiful fairy garden to marvel at. As the garden only has one entrance it is pretty safe for even small children to wander around and we loved playing hide and seek there

Peaceful Place
Jan 2019 • Couples
These gardens are set in a lovely secluded spot close to the Esplanade in Scarborough. Great place to sit and relax and the small Fairy Garden is a delight.
A real hidden gem in Scarborough.
