This is a well laid out, inter ting museum, set in various rooms - what was a house. There are stairs to negotiate. A tour of the museum is available. Entry is free.

Such lovely surprise. It’s like a Tardis. The lovely volunteers welcomed us in and gave us all the info we needed then left us alone to look round in peace. Very interesting. Very well laid out . Thank you for all your hard work.

We didn't know Sidmouth was so steeped in history! This lovely little museum has enough to keep you interested and intrigued for a morning or afternoon. Well laid out and plenty for all ages.

A real gem for a wet or windy day. A varied collection of exhibits. Depending who is on duty depends whether dogs are welcome.

Great little museum.Friendly staff lots of fossils,lace and Sidmouth history.My favourite was the Mammoths tooth amazing.Free entry but you can donate if you like.
