Aug 2019
This library hidden around resident of Langley. bring opportunityu for people of all culture to meet and feel welcome to community. There are so many activities which take place during the off season and during school term. I seen local schools make weekly trips to teach children the necessary important of library in community. Also teach them the internet is not always best place of learning but old traditional book in hand and spending time with others arnd the community

Library within St Mary's Church Langley
Jul 2016 • Family
St Mary's church has thus fantastic hidden gem of history that is amazing. The church holds a certain amount of open Sundays a year got this gem to be seen. There is someone in hand to explain a brief history. If your passing its well worth seeing.
I have seen it a few times as this is in one of my local churches.

Step back in time and experience a rare and beautiful 17th Century parish library
May 2016 • Solo
Only open a handful of days a year. An amazing experience to step back in time. The Kedermister library appeals to young and old alike and to people of different interests e.g. architecture, artwork, historical books, genealogy, local history etc... Access is from within St Mary the Virgin Church which has links to the family who constructed the library back in the 17th Century. There are shallow steps downwards along the church aisle and then a short, wide, quite steep flight of steps to reach the level of the library. There is then one step down into the library through a narrow stone doorway. It is very atmospheric and historic. Combining a look round the library, the church and churchyard makes for a very pleasant afternoon. Plenty of free on street parking next to the church. A popular family friendly pub The Red Lion immediately over the road for refreshments. On the day I went the Mothers Union were serving very delicious cream teas in the church which added to the enjoyment of my visit. The library is stunning and well worth a visit. It was not crowded when I visited in May.
