A very fun and informative class. Great tutor and the course was the perfect balance of knowledge whilst still being a laugh a minute. Highly recommended.

I had a brilliant day - lots of hands on experiences, plenty to eat, very friendly and great hospitality. Wouldn't hesitate to attend another cookery course.

Great, tasty ideas and a really exciting take on junk food. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Altrincham Vegetarian Society and this course. I think our chef was called Maz or Waggamazza (hehe) and along with Sam was so lovely. It was a really relaxed and fun morning and I can't wait to do the next one. All ingredients was provided and the menu plan, there was enough over to take some home. It was absolutely delicious - thank you

We attended the one day 'Winter Veggie' course. Although we enjoyed the course we did have some reservations. The equipment was very old and tired, not what one would expect from a principal school of cookery. Also the recipes seemed overloaded with herbs and spices and the results were not as palatable as expected. Finally the ingredients were pure vegan and we felt that if they were vegetarian the results would have been better. We will be looking elsewhere for our next cooking course.

A great introduction to cooking with Tofu. Lyn, our tutor gave a really comprehensive explanation of the different types and uses of tofu. She demonstrated cashew cream and a savoury pate with silken tofu then we were given a choice of dishes to make with block tofu. Sweet and sour tofu, Ramen, sticky kebabs and Thai red curry. All recipes were easy to follow and we all made delicious dishes. The course has given me the confidence to cook with tofu. I’d recommend the Vegetarian Society course to anyone who’s trying to cut down or cut out meat from their diet, or vegetarians who want to learn about tofu.

I went on the Junk Food Vegan course 6pm-9pm. We made a great range of food that we could alter to our own taste, ate loads but also brought loads home. Our tutor Maz was great, overall I loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and go again myself!
