Great place for walking, easy access with a buggy/pram. Good clear paths to walk on throughout the park. Special wooded area with a deer track trail to follow and logs for the children to climb on. Children able to run safely in front of you either on the paths or grassed areas. Loads to explore anytime of year. Picnic areas... More

Local to us good place to go for a walk and enjoy parkland and nice gardens. Lots of different attramctions at different times with it being national trust. Good cafe and coffee shop but coffee shop a bit pricey.

I've been here several times over the last year when I've fancied a walk with my partner. There are several walks you can do in and around the park and loads of lovely deer walking around. This place is perfect for walkers, families young and old and dog walkers as well (I think on lead due to the deer). Would... More

Dunham Massey is always good for a walk on a sunny day. I'm not convinced by the newly constructed cafe & entrance but the gardens are nice as always (buy chicken food if you have young kids) and even in winter there is plenty to see. The snowdrops were in great colour when we visited in February. Go very early... More

The new facilities to eat and drink are excellent. Food fresh, lots of choice. When busy difficult to get seats, but worthy the wait. Also when very busy the tables are not cleared away for the next person to use. Still worth a visit to let children run themselves tired!

I took my dad to Dunham Massey today. It was very cold so we wrapped up really well. It was very busy and the car park was full. The gentleman on the gate was courteous. Not being members of the National Trust we paid the full price for the car of £6. As we had not been there for years... More

We managed to find a "window" in the recent wet and miserable weather to have a very pleasant walk around the parkland and gardens. At this time of year you can really see the heronery, because of the lack of leaves on the trees although as the best view is from the perimeter of the deer enclosure but you will... More

Having a last day's holiday to take before the end of the year, I packed my camera and headed to Dunham Massey for my first visit to this National Trust site. Like many such sites these days, the attraction has a recently constructed modern frontage which includes toilets,a coffee shop and souvenir store. On getting onto the site there is... More

Close to the town centre on Altrincham in lovely grounds. Pleasant walks in a country estate atmosphere. Children love seeing the deer at close quarters and the gardens have ^year round" interest

A perfect place to stroll on a winters day gorgeous gardens, lovely wildlife. If you drive it's £6 to park but you can walk in . Nice coffee shop with food. A bit pricey but good food. Perfect for strolling. It gets really busy at the weekends.
