At least today they were. Soft but super fast. The fairways and tees were nearly as good. Probably better than before the floods, this is where to breathe the air and realise how lucky you are

We played 3 rounds of golf at Ballater Golf club during our week-long break. The course is tight and challenging but fairly short. The views are tremendous. We loved it.

Played here an number of times and never disappointed. Always in great condition and everyone very friendly and helpful. Yellow tees easier on the body but for the serious golfer the whites are a good challenge.
