After the old station had suffered a fire the station has now been totally rebuilt and refurbished. All the main features of the old station are still present plus a restaurant called 'The Carriage'. Food and service very good. Worth a visit

The coffee shop is novel and interesting and the food and coffee excellent. Victoria's dining room is a unique experience. This is the most up-market coffee shop in Ballater.

Yes it is open and now called the Carriage Restaurant. Completely rebuilt and refurbished after the fire. Well worth a visit for good food and ambiance in Ballater.
