The Lanes has always impressed us, in one way then in another way. The amount of shops that have recently closed has made way for new better ones. The overall experience has improved slightly with a few tweaks. The main facilities (eg. Toilets, seating areas)...More

All good High Street stores under a glass canopy nicely situated off English street. Really like all the brickwork and good paving as it gives a traditional feeling. Clean, bright with nice street cafes in the dry.

Went here on a cold January Saturday to look for clothes. I used my new motorised scooter as my mobility is slightly impaired. Access is good with a large area of the car park designated for the use of blue badge holders. Shopmobility is also...More

Pleasant shopping arcade with good decorations for Christmas. There was a wide range of shops. The toilets had 6 basins and driers to match the number of toilets which is most unusual, it's usually 2 driers and 12 toilets.

The Lanes is your typical city centre shopping arcade. There are a good mix of high street chain shops. It seems to have escaped the fate of many shopping centres as there only seems to be one of two empty units. There is plenty of...More

This is a standard UK shopping centre... the usual high street stores under one 'roof' (or in 'lanes' in this case, which makes it a little more interesting), and you don't have to walk for miles to get anywhere. There was also good parking
