We had booked here for my 10 year old daughter, just to turn up & be told it was closed due to technical problems. We drove from Newcastle & had hotel booked. They had my phone number, but didn’t think to call me before we wasted time & money. Absolute joke. Had to promise my daughter to take her to go ape instead as she was gutted, meaning more money I have to save! Thanks for nothing.

We took our three grand daughters, 6, 9 and 11 years, to Bitts park for the afternoon during the autumn half term holiday. While we were there I noticed the Urban Adventure site was still open. I thought the elder two would be up for a go but I felt it might be a bit daunting for the young one. However the young woman in the office thought she would be fine but said that she could come down at anytime she wished. Anyway, we opted for the middle option, (basically, no climbing wall), £15 each and off they went, I thought it would last for about half an hour, nope, nearer 90 minutes later and all three said they'd had a fantastic time. The two aerial (?) staff were very good, very professional, helping and advising where necessary and calling the children by their christian names . All three completed the whole 3 level adventure, (the little one was really chuffed), and I'm sure it does their self-confidence the world of good. A1 highly recommended.

I booked the full 'urban adventurer' package on-line for £16 and this included 2 attempts at the hire wires course (both 4 and 8 metres levels), 2 attempts at the climbing wall, 3 goes on the power fan and 3 goes on the zip line. My partner had a brilliant time and is dying to go back again to have another go.

Set in a lovely park with plenty of pay and display parking on site (£2.50 for 3 hours). Really helpful crew who made the experience fun for the Kids. Takes just over an hour to complete (was fairly quiet when we went so may take longer). Little hut selling tea, coffee etc next to the course. Did not get chance to take in any of the park as had to leave, but looked lovely for a walk or picnic.

My 9yr old nephew had a great time, got scared in a few places but with some guidance got through it all. The staff obviously enjoy their jobs and all seem great with kids and friendly too!
