Rubbish organisation. Management do not care.
May 2021
The place is lovely, but. I do hope the management change their "couldn't care less attitude" and organisational skills. I understand that there is a pandemic, but leaving young children outside waiting for 40 minutes (20 of those being whilst the session had already started), with absolutely no updates, was unacceptable.... I hope you agree. I phoned in the week and tried to book. I was told, I couldn't (though others had) and I would be fine to get in if I just came down, but you couldn't tell me how many people had existing booking. Then, when I turned up with my 4 year old, you told us to wait outside and then left us. You just kept the ever growing queue waiting and waiting and waiting whilst you did nothing except let those who had been allowed to book prior, in. Even 20 minutes after the session started we were still waiting. You didn't come out at any point, to say that some of the very long queue of young children wouldn't get in, even though it was obvious, you didn't come out to say you are sorry you we leaving us to wait 20 minutes + whilst you saw who turned up, you didn't come out to say that those coming in from the queue (of people who tried to book but you wouldn't let them), that you would reduce the entrance fee accordingly.... You said nothing... And then, when I tried to talk to you to get an update you looked at me like I was dirt on your shoe and ignored me. If you care about kids, you have a funny way of showing it. If you were going to make young kids wait for so long with no updates, whilst letting them watch people walk in, past them, whilst they queued so nicely for more 20 minutes plus (I left at this point so have no idea how long it went on for after), then you should have told me, when I phoned, not to come to the session. Honouring an unknown number of bookings and allowing walk ins doesn't work... Not once on the phone did you tell me you would do what you did. I would not have come if there was any chance you would have done that. In my opinion you put profits over people that day. If I am wrong, then if someone had spoken to me when I tried to talk to you... you could have set the record straight. Interesting you turned the comments off on Facebook on your post asking people to be nice to you... You should be nice to people too.

Rude staff
Nov 2019 • Family
So we visited the establishment back in October for my daughter's birthday and the staff were awful.
My partner went to change our little one's nappy only to find the changing table was damaged in the men's room, he asked for the key to the disabled bathroom as there was a changing table in there only to be told he couldn't have it because in the staff's words he's "clearly not disabled". First off not all disabilities are visible! Second how the hell was he meant to change her?

Then they accused my cousin of leaving her little girl in the play area unattended while she went outside, which was false as I had stayed inside with her daughter.

We emailed Aztec with our complaint and they never responded.

Amazing day out :) kids had a great time 👍
Oct 2019 • Family
I was in on Saturday 5th oct with my family.
Place looked great, kids were very excited, really busy and lots of Birthday party's going on so the kids didn’t have a problem making friends.
Other than that, the facilities are good and the place was clean and tidy. We ordered the kids chicken goujons and fries and i had the range burger with bacon barbecue sauce cheese with crispy fried onions :) service didnt take long and the food was great, we will defo be back as it was good value for money and kids loved it 😃

Bullies reign
Mar 2019
Do not take small children. The bigger children are horrid. They bully smaller children are actually spiteful and hit the smaller younger children. Management do absolutely nothing. The bullies Mums sit around talking and when challenged state their children would not dream of doing such a thing. Do not take your children they are not safe. Beware of this place.

Fantastic stop-off
Oct 2019 • Family
We planned to stop off here on a long journey up to Scotland. The girls loved the soft play (and could have played for hours longer!) the value was fantastic and the food was delicious and great value. I’d highly recommend it!

Great soft play
Aug 2019 • Family
We visited this soft play on another rainy day in the lake. It’s a decent size that would entertain up to around ten year old with a separate area for babies. There is a slide that has quite a steep drop that I feel should be supervised as it can not be seen from outside of the play area. There is a nice seating area for adults and food and drinks area hood. Prices are reasonable for entrance and cafe. It is also clean and well maintained, we would return.

Great place with good coffee and friendly staff
Apr 2019 • Family
We went during our Easter holiday, fairly early in the morning. It was quiet but got busier towards lunch time. There is an area for under 3s and a separate area for children older than 3 although one of the slides off this part (the blue one) is pretty steep and probably meant for children over 6 or 7, I would think. This section had a couple of tunnel slides and a wavy slide with four lanes too. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures but fairly easy to keep an eye on children going round it if you don't want to be climbing around after them yourself.

Some of the soft play sections are a little tired but all functional. The staff were very friendly (I know a previous view said that this wasn't the case but the staff there when we were there was very nice). We didn't have food so I can't comment on that but the coffee was great (helped me around the soft play equipment with a bit more energy!) and the children got a free cup of squash and a biscuit.

So overall, a nice, fairly small and contained soft play place with good coffee. Oh, and the toilets were nice and clean too.

Rude staff do not recommend!!
Jan 2019 • Family
Once I walked through the door I felt as though none of the staff wanted to be there and was greeted with misarable looking faces. I then paid the expensive fee to get in for my 5 year old son. I then went to order food at the till and the young man that served me was very rude and not very helpful at all. I then had received my food after waiting nearly 30 minutes and by the time I recieved my food it was cold. I complained to the manager after 10 minutes of waiting for him to come speak to me. He was rude and started whispering to the younger members of staff so I just left. Rude behaviour!!
