Great to walk around the tarn, or have a picnic or a go on the boats. Nice café and ice cream shop. Great place for fishing too.

Lovely park where we walked with our dog. There was a lovely selection of ducks and wildlife. There was arts and crafts made by local people for sale whilst we visited in August which was nice and we did purchase a couple of gifts. Within the park there is a shop and café with friendly staff. There are also public... More

Talkin Tarn is a lovely place to visit. You can walk right around the Tarn which is approx 1.25 miles. There are boats for hire and there is a lovely café for Scones or Lunch and a stall selling Ice Creams etc. Dogs are welcome as long as well behaved and you take along your Poop Scoop.

My favourite place. A beautiful setting and a short walk makes it one of the easiest and accessible places to go for a walk locally. Tea room lets it down

This is a lovely location with cafe facilities and toilets. It is also good for disabled people to visit as there are facilities for them to go to the upstairs restaurant too

Took our 3 kids aged 7,6 and 2. All enjoyed the walk and ice cream in the coffee shop. Only took an hour so good for little people. Shame that the car park is pay and display.
