The gardens here are wonderful, beautifully planned and magnificently kept. The children's playpark is fabulous, full of unusual features. Throughout the year there are events and concerts, as well as the weekly park run. The park is a tremendous asset for the town.

Attractive gardens to walk round. Squirrels climb up your legs! A nice little extra is the garden behind the museum in the grounds. Lovely to sit and read in.

This large park, close to the centre of the town, is an absolute gem. The flower beds are beautiful and help to create a marvellous tranquil retreat. The citizens of Colchester should be proud to have such a beautiful place in which to relax.

Lovely park to walk around. Terrible access from here to Highwoods Park, which is a pity, as we wanted an extended walk, but the Castle Park itself is very beautiful.
