Not been to many zoos recently but this one has a really good atmosphere. Plenty of food places and not badly priced. Go early to avoid the kids in summer although they soon seem to be absorbed. Its the school trips in term time that...More

I found it a very nice day out. I used Tesco vouchers , so it turned out a cheap day. But I would pay cash to go again. Nice watching the behaviour of the monkeys. Excellent.

Colchester zoo on Easter Sunday (1 Replies)
Hi, Does anyone know wether Colchester Zoo is very busy on Easter Sunday as I don't have a clue and due to personal issues getting around I thought if it was very busy it could be more of a problem than usual kind of number of visitors.
