Called here yesterday.saw an injured swan told a ranger about. When eventually i found one. He wasnt in the slightest bit interested. Told me to leave he would look later. At that time he was playing with his phone. Not what hes paid to do. Gonna keep an eye on this situation and if said continues. Ill be reporting this elsewhere. Swans meant to be protected.

A delightful place to be at one with nature had a sandwich and a coffee overlooking the lake watching the swans and other wildlife. The cafe is doing takeaways.

How should this experience be improved? This park is not the greatest at the best of times! Facilities were basic/minimal prior to the covid lockdown and obviously everything has been shut since, the cafe and ice cream parlour could be opened for takeaway like every other place in Rotherham but Rotherham Council won’t allow it. Even the childrens play area which is in an open space is still closed which means there is nothing for kids to do, nowhere to get refreshments, no activities and they still charge you £1.80 for parking. We visit this park as a family daily and have voiced our concerns to staff who have zero enthusiasm and motivation to do anything with this park. They could do so much more with a lovely space but it appears nobody is bothered about it or it’s visitors :(

Had a lovely sausage sandwich, staff very nice, shame they had no custard to go with a piece of chocolate cake but I'll survive! I'd recommend.
