Educational.

Great for the kids and they have the park, crazy golf and rides too. Much cheaper than the coast and the paddling pool is open.

The park and museum are both very popular with people of all ages, the children particularly like the interactive areas and the play at the bottom of the park. Look out for the regular activities that take place throughout the year. We hope you will return again in the near future. More

We had a lovely walk all around Clifton Park and had the added pleasure of seeing a wedding in progress. All the grounds are wonderful. The museum is free and very interesting with displays of York and Lancaster regimental uniforms, animals, glass blowing history, and sports figures from Rotherham. Especially beautiful is the room dedicated to Rockingham Porcelain. It contains... More

Thank you for your lovely comprehensive review. There have been lots of changes over the last few years in both the park and museum, including the introduction of weddings and the York & Lancaster Regimental Museum. The Rhinoceros vase is very much a love or hate item which causes much debate amongst visitors, although there is no denying the amount... More

The park is a nice size and contains a small fun fair for children, well, kept gardens and a band stand. The Museum is situated in the 18th century house at the top of the park near the tennis courts and is well worth a visit, having many interactive displays, an air-raid shelter and nice Cafe.

I go often with my 3 year old and did with his brother when he was little. The museum is free and very interesting. We always do he same things when we go like a ritual, but it's fun. We look at Nelson the lion, ride on the zebra, play in the kitchen, buy an ice cream. Clifton Park is... More

The parking is fairly priced but if you want to sve money there are spaces on side streets but then you have to walk a bit more. That said the grass is expansive and well kept, the trees and flowers are lovely to walk through, the play ground is great as is the huge sand pit. You can pay a... More
