I spent the day here with my family and it was brilliant. Magical memories were made and I’ll be sure to bring the kids back. We absolutely loved our time spent here and items I bought. Thanks!

Visited today with my partner and a friend and we had a fabulous time!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted by a really friendly member of staff we loved the place! So many things to look at and the labels on all the items were so great to read!
All staff we spoke to were super friendly and helpful and we are all really happy with the things we purchased.
We will definitely be coming back again with more friends!

Thank you :)

An interesting place but was expecting a bit more in terms of activities/interaction. The website led me to believe it was more than basically a shop.

Hi there, Thank you for your review, and I'm so sorry you were a little disappointed. We are a literacy charity, and all the proceeds from the shop go towards funding free workshops for children, enabling them to unleash their imagination and creative skills. The upstairs section is where we hold our workshops, hidden behind a secret door, and our beanstalk is the only way back from that magical portal. I'm afraid we do keep that area secret to maintain the magical mystery for our children. We do often have activities within the shop, especially in the school holidays. I'm sorry that you missed those, and we hope you come back to see us again soon.

An enjoyable and unique experience with a heart of gold. Grimm and Co are a community based organisation that encourages the written word through fantasy. What more could you ask for.

From the role-playing staff to the little Graham Grimm Museum, the level of detail which has sprouted from the imagination of Grimm & Co. is extraordinary. At first glance, it looks like a Victorian apothecary store, with intriguing items peeking through the paned windows. Inside, there are shelves and crates of intriguing items - "Leprechaun Gold", "Pixie Dust", message in a bottle kits, colourful soaps with witty names... Even the ingredient lists are brilliantly in character. Don't miss the iconic "It's Grimm Up North" pins, umbrellas and T-shirts.
There's a writing desk where children can write to their favourite fairy tale character (and receive a reply), a washing line for tiny elf clothes, and even a little library with a throne and fireplace up a short flight of stairs. And did I mention the giant beanstalk slide?? The staff are not only helpful, but remain in character and are evidently passionate about their work.
If you're curious as to which magical creature you might be, a specially-designed weighing scale will helpfully inform you. This hippogriff was delighted to participate in the store's narrative!
Grimm & Co. is your go-to store for scrolls, quills, sparkling dust and other charming items. Looking for bottled "Pinch of Happiness" or candlelit "Glimmer of Gratitude"? Look no further.

So after visiting Grimm & Co a few weeks ago, my kids wrote a letter to Dobby and Legolas on the understanding they’d get a written response back. I never expected to see the amazing effort the staff put into the responses. Incredible!!!! Photos for evidence below.

If you have young children, or those young at heart, this is a must place to visit. The staff are brilliant, it’s so friendly, so different and just lovely! My 10 year old loves it, my 21 year old loves it and I (49 year old) love it. Please pay them a visit if you’re in Rotherham, you won’t be disappointed
