Spent a pleasant couple of hours walking the various tracks and paths around the reserve. Plenty of parking (£1 for 2hrs or £3 for all day). As it was our first visit we called in the new visitor centre/cafe to pick up a map and made a note to call back for a drink after our walk. There are roughly... More

Lots of things of interest around the reserve. Good well defined paths, car parking very reasonably priced. Visitor centre is great, good views from top deck. Cafe does vgood filled rolls etc., it was a bit cramped when we ate - but there were a lot of visitors - and there were more seats outside. Helpful reserve volunteer identified the... More

Took a walk here to do something a little different to the beach etc and wasn't disappointed. Visitor centre and cafe was very clean and relaxing with fantastic views across the reserve. Some nice little walks, very easy to follow and worth the trip out to. If you love walking it's about an hour walk from skegness, has 2 car... More

Just down the road from Skegness is a nature reserve quite unique in it's landscape and make-up. With a brand new visitors centre built on stilts, brought about by the floods of December 2013. The centre has great views over the coastal marshland. So you can sip a coffee whilst perhaps looking at a marsh harrier drift across the marsh.... More

The new visitor centre is very attractive inside, especially the homemade cakes. Luckily we had walked all the way down to the sea and back so had earned our cake. A lady there had spotted a seal, but we only saw crabs and birds. Beautiful view of Norfolk and the Wash.

Went to Gibraltar point Skegness Lincs . Nice places to walk. Had a lovely walk along the beach, was very quiet . People go for the bird watching. Although my friend and I never really saw many birds in the area. Heard a few singing, which was lovely. There is a cafe and a small souvenir shop together. That was... More

This is a great place to walk and try to spot the birds and wildlife at this Nature Reserve but a lot of it was on sand which was not wheelchair friendly. The newly refurbished visitor centre was well done and the food on offer was excellent. The only shortfall was the very few toilets, two inside the café and... More

We visited the new Visitor Centre today for the first time. It's been a family tradition to stop there on the way home from a break in Skegness, and we've missed having proper facilities there. The new centre has been cleverly designed with stunning views on three sides of the new building. The food was quite limited in choice, but... More
