This is a nature reserve with walks to the marshland offering a visitor centre and information areas. We arrived in the early evening so can't comment on the centre except to say it looked trim and well designed. We walked and spent time listening to curlews and watching a marsh harrier hover overhead. Very peaceful and will always remember the... More

We went to visit Gibraltar Point for the first time since the storm surge destroyed much of the old centre. The new building is beautiful and fits so well into the environment. The view from the roof is spectacular. We also enjoyed great cakes and coffee from the cafe. I suspect the car park will get very full very quickly... More

We really love bird watching it's extremely peaceful here with not too far to walk to the hides which have photos of the bird life you're likely to see. Well worth a visit

When we arrived and I saw the new building infront of us I expected it to be packed full of information - it was not. It was simply a cafe. A very nice, very expensive cafe with great outdoor seating and views. I was hoping for telescopes to look through together with comprehensive details of what birds visited with pictures.... More

So quiet here it's a world away from the hustle and bustle of skegness which is just up the road. Didn't see much wildlife when we visited but it's such a peaceful place to stop off and admire the scenery.

I had known about this place for years but never had the time or chance, and what have I missed all these years? We walked for miles for a great breath of fresh air! With all sorts of wildlife around us, a shame we did not get to see the seals as it was to wrong time of season for... More

Such a great place to come for a relaxing walk in the summer. When we came there was nobody else here and it was really peaceful, it is a bit of a walk round but well worth it

We last visited a week after the storm surge, returned this morning to find an excellent visitor facility, toilets available in old coast guard building when visitor facility is closed, additional facilities in in the excellent elevated centre! Car parking charges of £1 for 2 hours or £3 for the day very reasonable For visitors who have not driven to... More

We visited for the first time on 17 August. It is very well signposted from Skegness. We were surprized how many cars were there when we arrived at 11am, and even more surprized that there were no spaces in the visitor centre car park at 2pm as there was no indication on the beach or around the reserve of many...
