I took my two teenage daughter along with my two nieces, 2 and 7 months. This pool is perfect as is graduated, so great for little people that have a big independent streak. And the layout allows you to have a good view of everyone in the pool. There is also enough to keep little ones interested and amused. The... More

I haven't been here for years, no it hasn't changed much but they seem to of sorted it out a bit staff wise I enjoyed my swim and it was quiet, I'm going again tonight, the changing room was clean it's not cheap though that's my only gripe

We are regular visitors at Stamford Leisure Pool and travel up from Peterborough which is a testament to them. The facilities are well looked after, the staff are always carrying out general cleaning theough the sessions which is good to see and they always seem friendly on reception. The wave machine is good (not too violent) and the slide is... More

This seams like a nice place...but the staff are as miserable as they could be. I think the manager (who has just left) was happy and friendly and one other chap. But God the rest need a rocket up their a*#!... For a place that is supposed to promote health and vitality it's completely the opposite. Most of the staff... More

We were camping in the area and wanted to fill a rainy day so decided to get soaked inside instead of out. I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and was a bit reluctant. However we had no issues. It's good value for starters £11.90 for a family ticket. On the downside the lockers take 20 pence and is non-refundable but... More

To whoever said there's poo floating in the water, it's not. It's the pebble bits that are clearly used in the landscaping areas. I had the pool to myself this evening. Great little place to get some much needed exercise.

It is a shame this is the only open swimming pool in Stamford. If there was another, I would NEVER visit this pool. A vase of dead flowers greeted us WITH a very unfriendly staff member taking OUR money at reception. The changing rooms are awful. There is filth on the floor (not usual dirt), walls, doors, toilets and on... More

I have been coming to this pool since I was a kid and now I bring mine here. Check what times are best suited to your needs before you go. I take my 5 year old 2 Hours before the swim lesson sessions starts then we get out. I went on the slide as a child and loved it!. My... More

The last two times I have visited this pool there has been poo floating on the pool surface. Either ban children who aren't toilet training or train and motivate your staff to be more vigilant. I do not want my children swimming in other people's excrement!
