Visited in late June following Adam Frost's review on BBC Gardeners' World programme. He didn't say, while promoting this location, that he runs his business from and lives in this village. The main car park on Wittering Road is littered with broken glass from car...More

When we first visited this part of the world I was very happy to find that a playground of my mother's had become a nature reserve. It is very interesting to note the unusual wildflowers and there are plenty of tracks to walk around.

Went for a walk with kids. Signs are up to remind people to keep dogs on leads and clear up after them - of course these seem to be largely ignored. Dogs charging about and mess everywhere. Such a shame.
