Don't miss a visit to the Town Hall, free entry with a guided tour takes about 1 hour, and each room is very interesting, the guides are knowledgeable and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit

We visited the town hall during the Georgian festival. Very informative tour, lots of history and lovely building to enjoy. Also visited the cells which were dank, dark, gloomy horrible places for prisoners in the past. A must if you visit Stamford.

Popped in to see the life size recreation of Daniel Lambert but, beyond that, there's not much for the tourist see beyond a few other artefacts of local interest. Building is certainly impressive.
