The Sensory Room
Aug 2021 • Friends
What a lovely find! The sensory room is wonderful. Lots of interesting things to look at and sensory toys to play with. Very well organised and clean. Friendly staff. My only criticism is that the room would benefit from being fully cushioned with squishy floor mats. It would have been nice to have let the babies roll around and fully explore without worrying they would bang their heads on the hard floor.
Thank you for a lovely service.

Hydrotherapy Pool
Jun 2019 • Family
We visited the pool on a rainy afternoon with 4 adults and 3 children under 6 yrs old. The pool was lovely and warm. The area was clean. It was good to have some inflatable rings for the children to play in. Good value for money and will definitely be using again. Relaxing for parents (water jets) as well as great warm fun for the kids. The cafe is also great.. with good food at great prices... a very happy customer who will be returning.

Great cafe
May 2019 • Couples
We've popped in to the café a couple of times for their breakfasts and have been extremely pleased with the fresh ingredients cooked to order. Friendly staff and very clean premises too and all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. 😀

Apr 2019 • Family
I got my mum a voucher for Mothers Day and we had a lovely time. Also took my son with us who is 10. It is a lovely pool and the cafe is very reasonably priced and the food all freshly made. There are alot of great activities for young people too that are all at a great price too.

i needed food
Mar 2019 • Solo
I have chronic fatigue syndrome. I needed food as my energy levels were dropping. I went in to the cafe it was really clean, nice tables and chairs. I had a wonderful cheese sandwich with salad, a cup of piping hot tea , it was wonderful. The staff were so polite and happy. I found a little bookcase where there are books you can buy for a donation to the charity. So much was going on, there seems they hold many events

Accessible venue and activities
Jul 2017 • Couples
Hydrotherapy - small pool but clean, warm and well maintained, with seats and jets at one end. I've had several 'exclusive use' sessions here and the staff in the main building are always pleasant and friendly. The pool is unstaffed. There is a hoist which takes you right into the pool, and although they can lend you a sling not all the staff know how to connect it (it is complicated with chains), so we now take our own. There are several changing rooms, but the only one big enough to take a wheelchair has poor drainage and is generally really wet following use of the hoist and shower, so I've generally got dressed in the 'lobby' - not ideal. The standard sessions are an hour long which includes changing time, so unfortunately if you can't get changed quickly the time in the water is very short. Some slightly longer sessions are available but they are really pricey.

Yoga - lovely instructor, completely accessible classes with exercises adapted for the individual if necessary.

Café - used each time we've come to the pool, ideal place for a coffee or lunch after using the facilities. Food is fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced. Staff are generally friendly and chatty.
