Star Wars Canteen

Wow - what an experience (and probably not in a good way) - everyone should make a make a point of coming here on a Saturday night for a spot of people watching. This place is very reminiscent of the Star Wars canteen and the only thing missing was Jabba the Hut. (However Jabba's fatter, uglier sister was there) I have never seen such a collection of ugly freaks in one place anywhere else in the world. Imagine a party in the green room at the Jeremy Kyle show, after the show and the staff giving everyone a big case of booze and they then all try to cop off with each other. Half of the people have no teeth, massive scars, legs missing, huge tattoos, stupid eyebrows and crap make up and terrible breath and bodily odours and lousy dress style (with acres of bare flesh) but are all up for having a good time, a snog and a fondle on a night out away from their husbands, wives and partners etc. 'Cotton Eye Joe' and 'Living on a Prayer' always seems to go down well here (a bit like the ladies) but beware the broken glass on the floor if dancing and ladies don't dare take off your high heals or you could catch all manner of horrible diseases from the flooring. Toilets are an absolute disgrace, unless you bring your wellies you are likely to get soaked. This really is one of the places that everyone should visit at least once in their lives, some people have even been known to go back every week! (I'll certainly be going back when next in Wakey)

Absolutely a no no is this place, full of ruffians and just down right dirty. Rude staff and had too many people in it, than it should of had

Great music and atmosphere
Great place to go for a drink in town. good 70s music played, good dance floors at front and rear. Drinks prices reasonable with good choice.
