The castle wasn't open when we visited but we had a really good lunch in the cafe and really liked the grounds and facilities. Will certainly visit the castle on another trip.

Hadn’t heard of Raby Castle until we were in the area but we really enjoyed our visit. Definitely recommend the guided tours; our guide (Nick?) really brought the place to life. You’re free to go round as much as you want before and after too....More

walked around castle grounds and went into castle beautiful setting and castle . gardens worth a visit too. Tea room wonderful coffee and scones and reasonable prices. going to return in summer to see gardens in bloom. Staff very friendly and very interesting facts .

Fantastic place to visit. The grounds, gardens and Castle are great. The guides in the Castle are very friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is a must! Love snacks and cakes (gluten free and vegan/vegetarian available) plus the tea for one is huge! Nice little gift...More

Not only is the tour of the castle amazing and so informative but the grounds are wonderful and you can stay all day. From woodland dog walks, children’s play area, farm shop and beautiful cafe this is a Castle with so much to offer. A...More

We were staying locally and saw the dog walk advertised on the website. We had a fabulous 90 minute walk with our Saluki alongside every other dog breed you could image! The estate was gorgeous and walking through the deer herd was an amazing experience....More

Opens for season 24/03, 11am to 4.30pm Wednesday to Sunday, Tuesday to Sunday in July and August Closes 30 September Please leave helpful vote if ok 👍🏻

No dogs allowed inside any buildings or gardens, only on a lead in the surrounding grounds.
