A GREAT LOCATION FOR SOME REFRESHMENT....
...call in at the centrallly located Cafeteria by the Car Park for great coffe and a range of cakes!! Lovely views over the lake and walks to be had, there are other food outlets in the Park as well, so there is plenty of alternative choices. Very popular with Mums with kids I noticed...

Lovely day out with the family
We spent a lovely few hours with our young children exploring what the Park has to offer. Two great play parks, a nice cafe flanked either side by a very busy soft play and a pottery painting studio, and free parking to boot. The gardens were very well manicured and very tidy. A hidden gem in the centre of Poole!

    Green space in city centre
We visited on a drizzly afternoon but am sure it’s much nicer in the sunshine. Only a short walk from city centre. Lovely place for picnic etc. Great playground, miniature train to ride, crazy golf, small boat hire and nice cafe with beautiful views over the water.

    Park time for the kids
What a great park!! Something for everyone and of all ages. The play parks have been revamped over the years and I must heat they are the best in Poole. Lovely lake, tidy, no litter and some lovely wildlife. I would say it would be nice to see more things done to attract more wildlife such as bay boxes, big hotels etc but what you have done with the lake for the water birds is fab!! Love that fact it’s right in our doorstep!! 👍🏼

    Brilliant. Really really lovely!
Really really lovely visit. The gardens are immaculate, we loved the "quiet zone" and seeing ducks/geese etc as we walked around the lakes is just the cherry on top! The train, facilities, cafes and just to note there's both a play park and indoor soft play for children too! Just a really lovely couple of hours or afternoon. Close to walk to the harbour too and the free parking is great.

Good soft play and clean park
Great morning or afternoons worth of activities. The ark play centre/ soft play was a good size, and daughter really enjoyed it. 4 decent slides. Park is huge and could easily use bikes to explore it all. Parking I’m on site was free. Train is decent.

We booked our pedalo for 11.30am, they were brought in from the middle of the lake at 11.25 and were still being sorted out at 11.45. The young staff were unhelpful and generally rude. The pedalo’s were filthy. Not the best experience, however the park is beautiful, large screen showing movies was free. The children’s play park is excellent.

Love walking round this lake, free parking and playground for the kids. With little balancing activities on way round for them. Look out for jelly fish you can see in the lake especially round the far side where it is shallower

We booked the Crazy Golf for four of us and had a great time and a good price then walked around Poole Park which was absolutely beautiful. They had different boating activities which looked like fun together with cafes to grab a bite to eat.
We would definitely go to Poole Park again.

We love coming to Poole Park and its nice to see how its developed in recent years, with a new play area for the kids for example. Parking is straight forward if you get there early during the summer - restrictions do vary between each car park though, with 3 hours free parking max available at the arc car park. Toilets are available at the arc too, along with an outside play park, cafe and soft play for the kids. Various activities are available on the boating lake too, e.g. the swan pedalos. The crazy golf has been modernised too. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The miniature railways wasn’t running when we went. A nice way to spend a couple of hours on a summer’s day.

We visited Poole Park whilst down from up north visiting our friends. We walked round the lake, had a lovely picnic, the kids played on the fab playgrounds. Both playgrounds were very fun, lots to do and play on! There were also pedalos, tennis courts, crazy golf, 2 cafe's and 2 ice cream stalls. Lovely day out, thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Poole Park is such a fantastic and privileged place to visit and live near.

Very lovely site and great walk around and I’m sure the restaurants on the site will be fantastic.

Will be amazing when the train system is rebuilt and running and will be loved as it first start in the 1940’s

Lovely clean park with two great play areas. We enjoyed walking round and had a coffee on the lakeside. One larger brand new park better for older children 4/5 plus I would say, then a smaller park further round near the ark centre better for younger ones. Spent an enjoyable few hours here together.
