This event, which takes place every year, is well thought out. You start by getting onto the small train which operates in the corner of Poole Park next to the pavillion and this takes you on a short journey along the line around the duck ponds to a Santa's Grotto stop where you disembark and queue up to see Santa. While you are waiting there are other child friendly attractions of animals and also a low speed go cart track. You can choose to return to the start by taking the train or a short walk back to the pavillion. Also located nearby are other play areas for young children, including an indoor fun gym in the pavillion.

Good value for toddlers to visit Santa when he has a little time off to sit around the place, rubbing his big tummy and chuckling.
So nice.

Been a few years (3) but when we went it was great, train ride to a nice walk to feed the reindeer and then a nice visit with santa. certainly worth the fee, which wasn't expensive.

Nice arrangement here and even reindeer for the children to see, a bit on the expensive side, but where isn't?

A very popular place to visit when Santa comes to town. Santa's Grotto is well laid out and Santa is ready with little presents for the kiddies. You get to sit on haybales for having your photo take. With Santa. The Reindeer are also there and you can buy food to feed the.

Wonderful - like Christmas should be. Still magical for the little ones. Love it. Includes piglets, (too cute to eat) and real reindeer. What more could a child ask for?

There is alot of free things to do at Poole Park, feed the ducks and swans, admire the lake and wildlife, play on the swings & even FREE PARKING.
Then you can pay to ice skatr, visit the coffee shop, Ride on the mini train or go to Ark childrens playground for a modest fee (great for the younger ones).
It's a great half day.
