My wife and I visited here to go on the Segways, and in doing so we got to see much of the lovely country park, the outside of the manor house, and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the café. The tea consisted of a sandwich, scones, cream & jam, tea, biscuits, and cupcakes. There was far too much to... More

We had a fab day with our three boys (aged 5, 8 and 11) at Upton Country Park today. We walked through the walled garden - the splash fountain there looked like quite a highlight for lots of people, given that it was a hot day - but we weren't equipped for getting soaked, so chose to head down to... This is a beautiful space filled with more than enough manicured land to enable dog walkers and family picnickers to share the park without coming into contact. It is such a soothing environment to just walk in, immerse yourself in nature while you run your dogs or have a romantic picnic in the evening warmth.

Went to Upton Country Park to take part in a Segway experience. Both of us in our mid 60's. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The instructors were very friendly and caring. The Park is an excellent place to take children to play, ride and picnic, also a dogs paradise. The Park is dependent on donations only, so does not have to... More

Have been visiting Upton Country Park for years and visited the tea rooms with a friend a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a scone and it was disgusting. Dry as a bone, certainly not fresh. It was either several days old or had previously been frozen. Such a shame, scones aren't hard to make. Unfortunately I was unable to... More

Although a regular visitor to this lovely park I don't normally use the tearooms, but today I was treated for my birthday. We had a light lunch of toasties with cheese and bacon, French fries and salad and it was absolutely lovely, best toastie I've ever had, good value at 4.50 too. Some may well say you can't do much... Absolutely brilliant first time on a Segway at Upton country park. Both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructor was very friendly and helpful. I got an offer from groupon which made it £15 each for an hour session. Of which you are on a Segway for around 45 minutes. It was worth every penny, definitely going to... More

We went to Upton Park because of the Segway offer we found on line. The park bosted a number of other attractions so we decided to make a day of it. The park itself is lovely and had a very nice enclosed area with a water fountain. This was mainly occupied by young families, babies-10 ish. Sadly the other areas... More
