We spent all day with 4 under-8s at Upton Country park. There's so much space, with plenty of things to do spread throughout the park. Loved the play trail. Fantastic!

A very peaceful park with very nice walks. Plenty of space for children to play. We took our own picnic and there are picnic benches. The views are lovely. A good cafe and also an ice-cream kiosk. Plenty of parking. They also have events in the grounds and the house.

Whether its a stroll around the lovely gardens or taking the children for a run around there is so much space here. You can wander round the lovely park, follow the paths and find a seat and see the squirrels and baby rabbits running around. Children have loads of space to get rid of some energy and explore. Interesting play... More

Really enjoyed visiting this busy, picturesque country park! A great walk, good for people with dogs and lots to see! Also - great cakes in the cafe and a free bookswap! Huzzah!

We go to Upton Country Park nearly every month. Great place to meet with friends and their families. Today we mainly stayed in the walled garden, as the kids love the splash area and can happily spend all day there. We also do the walks, use the front area to play games or have birthday/family picnics. The last two Christmases... More

We visited Upon Country Park on Saturday 23rd July. The weather was fantastic and the facilities too. After a lovely lunch we took a stroll around the grounds and looked at the house which had a wedding function going on. We then went out on a Segway and this was quite thrilling. We would definite recommend Upton Country Park to... More

This large country park has a great deal to offer all the year round. It's good and safe for dog walkers, health walkers - a lovely little Healthy Walkers' group meets near the loos at 12 noon every Friday for a reasonably gentle walk round the park, and is both popular and friendly. It's excellent for walkers using Nordic poles,... More

I run here a minimum of twice a week all through the year. Parking is very easy and there are a matrix of pathways and routes to take especially with the park expanding. The walled gardens are beautiful and the water feature will keep children entertained for hours. the tea rooms are very nice but be patient.

Beautiful grounds, loads of different things to see from the woodlands, formal gardens, shoreline and the rather grand Upton House. There's a great play trail for the kids and there's lots of good value children's activities at the weekend and school holidays. It's a great place to visit at any time of year and the Tea Rooms are really lovely... More
