I came here to ask about toilets (can use them here) and stayed to look around the museum. Very interesting. Well worth a visit. There is a special exhibition on at the moment and very informative.

After going crabbing one Sunday afternoon, we went to the museum and the people who run the museum are friendly and helpful. It’s free to visit and there are lots of local artefacts about Poole pottery, merchants and fishing.

This museum is near to Poole Quay. The museum is free. It was interesting to find out about local history. The museum is small so my visit was around half an hour.

Really pleasantly surprised with the entire museum, very interesting exhibits well laid out over numerous floors with good disabled access throughout. The café terrace has views down the main street and out over the harbour. A must visit if around Poole.

I'm not sure either. It seems though that Poole is dog friendly. A lot of shops have water bowls outside for our canine friends.
