Like many people we knew of the existence of Compton Acres, but little else. It's a lovely garden, not huge, but well laid out, with beautifully planted areas/planting schemes to make the most of every season. Good paths, and decent "map". Nice restaurant (in the...More

We are so pleased that your daughter's wedding at the Italian Villa was so beautiful. The Italian Villa at Compton Acres is a separate entity to the 10 acres of gardens at Compton Acres and therefore wedding guests do enjoy the Italian garden but all...More

The famous Compton Acres gardens are beautiful but seriously lacking colour and flowers. They are quite formal/traditional in the layout. A gift shop has evolved to sell an array of items, but the gardens remain unchanged for the last 25+ years. Which some say is...More

Thank you for your review, the general layout of the gardens remains unchanged but there is an abundance of colour at this time of the year. The 10 acres of gardens are full with trees and shrubs of many varieties, we have spring colour with...More

We’ve been coming here for years, it never fails to impress. Our last visit was Easter Sunday, when it was warm and sunny. It was quite busy but no way too busy. The gardens were looking immaculate as always - I’d heartily recommend this beautiful...More

This was our first visit here but it won’t be our last! Even on a rainy day, the gardens were so beautiful and vibrant. The trees gave shelter from the rain and as it was quiet, we were able to wander at our leisure and...More

Lovely gardens - lots to look at and walk around. Cafe a little pricey (£5.50 for a sandwich) - maybe take a picnic!
