It has closed down, please remove this attraction on TripAdvisor! There is, however, a smaller version - more a book shop really, in Corfe village just a 20 min drive away.

It was good while it lasted but never enough to keep them entertained for long and the lady / staff member on the desk was more than a little miserable with children...not surprised when it closed down!

First a pub then an Enid Blyton attraction for children, now sadly closed. It always struck me as a non starter - Poole Quay is for adults, the park and beaches are for children. The building is apparently listed, but is beginning to look extremely scruffy - something needs to be done soon.

I love Enid blyton's books-- imaginative , great fun. Her books were a great entertainment for me in my childhood. certainly nostalgicplace. All enid blyton fans, unite & visit the place. Eileen soper was 1 of the talented illustrators whose drawings graced enid blyton's books!

I though it was a lovely little place to revive one's childhood memories and play the nostalgia game. It was also educational fun for kids. Whilst some improvements most certainly could have been made I am nevertheless sad that this venue with a difference has gone.

Overpriced and very bad venture from the start. Was only ever going to end one way. Location was wrong, image was wrong pricing was way out and staff were not really tuned in to run this kind of venture.

Was a neat little place (even if the staff were rude). We've been a few times with the kids as Poole residents. Sad to see another place closing in Poole.

Unfortunately this attraction seems to have closed now which is a real shame, see their website for details. Being an Eileen Soper fan brought us to this little private shop/museum. While the exhibition is small and doesn't compare to more professional museums it was still a lot of fun to discover the Enid Blyton / Eileen Soper world.

We came across this quite be accident but spent quite some time here and wished we had the granchildren with us. It was well set out for the older children to explore at their own pace but would be equally good for smaller children under closer adult supervision. For ourselves it brought back memories of our youth and we were... More
