Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare.

It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

This was my first visit to Baylham Farm, I've previously been put off by the high prices. However for just £3 each (adults and children) we had a great few hours. The price included a visit to see Farmer Christmas and a mulled wine and mince pie for the adults. The children also got a bag of food to feed... More

We come here around 3 times each year. Animals are very well looked after and staff seem very happy to be there. Perfect place for a family day out and you really get a sense of what it is like on a typical Suffolk farm and the owners have done incredibly well to turn this in to an attraction for... More

My friend and I took our 5 girls to this family run farm. all the staff were friendly and interacted with the children. The girls loved carving their pumpkins and playing the Halloween games. We had a stroll round stroking the animals and generally just relishing the farm. To top the visit off nicely we had lunch and afternoon tea.... More

Had a 2nd birthday party for a group of ages between 1 and 5. We had an amazing time and everything was taken care of, food, drinks and even the party bags! Our party organiser was really friendly and helpful. My son and friends really enjoyed his chosen activities of meeting the bunnies and feeding chickens and collecting eggs. We... More

My husband and i took our 6 yr old grandaughter it was a lovely sunny day and had fun feeding and stroking the animals. Slightly scary when our grandaughter disappeared.into the haystack. Great sighs of relief when she popped out the top! We are now looking forward to going back in spring to see the baby lambs

My husband and I adore Baylham Farm. It's a fantastic, simply run farm that provides fun for all ages. It's set in a gorgeous setting and you can enjoy a walk around the fields where the natural swimming pool runs, watching the geese and sheep. Stop off at the little coffee shop for a nice lunch (we had homemade on... More

The family and I went there for a trip out. One of those impulsive trips where we just upped and went. An 8 year old and a 10 year old + me and the wife. I did find it a little dull and perhaps it was too old for my kids. There wasn't much to do and there wasn't a... More

Thank you for leaving your comments, although we are surprised by your review. We are a working farm, so don't have a star attraction as per some of the tourist farms, but there is a huge amount to see and do. There are many 'hands on' animal encounters such as pig and goat grooming, being able to hand feed all... More

A delightful couple of hours. Lovely volunteers and simple enjoyment with and feeding the many breeds of animals. Plus a scary climb up the haystack.. Thoroughly enjoyed it as a granddad!

We visited with my one year old and compared to other farm trails we have done we thought this was a bit pricey for what they have to offer. There was no info saying why they were rare breeds and not as many animals as we thought. We paid £7 per adult to walk around a large loop. The baby... More

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed by your visit to us and we are especially surprised to hear you found little opportunity to interact. We offer a number of up-close animal encounters each day throughout the summer holidays, including grooming the goats and pigs, feeding the chickens, hunting for eggs and cuddles with our bunnies. Moreover, nearly all of... More
