I really like to spend a sunny day there. Quite and very relaxing. Only downside is when there is a event you can't enjoy because its will be too noisy

This park is absolutely stunning in Autumn - take time out from the hustle and bustle of the town and stroll through the parkland - you might even find a tasty sweet chestnut! If I had one negative comment it is that there were a number of dogs 'off-lead', and this can be off-putting to small children (and adults) if... More

Situated just north of Ipswich Town centre this is an absolute contrast to a rather litter strewn town. Fantastic in autumn and brilliant in spring - you could be anywhere!

If you're in Ipswich in July you should look out... More

So much to see and experience in a small space. There are few parks that can rival this one. Not to forget that this was given to the town by a wealthy benefactor who saved the mansion and its grounds from being turned into a housing estate.

This lovely park is just a short stroll from the shopping centre and offers a great opportunity for peace and relaxation. There is plenty of room to stretch your legs, exercise the dog (on & off the lead) and enjoy some fresh air, varied scenery (hills, ponds) and refreshments at either of the two kiosks. There is a visitor centre... More

Lovely gardens with trees and landscape and lots of nice places to walk and quiet spots to sit or picnic. I loved the little lake - very peaceful! The house is really interesting with some great paintings and furniture.
