The Friends of Christchurch Park organise a series of band concerts in the Arboretum each summer. These are free to all and make a great Sunday afternoon out in the great outdoors provided by the Park. Looking forward to next summer!

We visited the park in order to see the Christchurch Mansion. We took a cream tea in the cafeteria which we enjoyed outside in the sunshine. The cheese scones were delicious. Recommended

A lovely place to sit and relax. It is a massive park so this is plenty of room and you are not on top of each other.

The place to come for a peaceful walk around lovely parkland if you want to get away from the noise of the nearby town centre. Miles of walkways, plenty of open space, several large ponds (lakes?) and a mansion house in the grounds. Lovely!

Lovely park, great for both dog walkers, families with children and those that just want to wander alone to enjoy a beautiful green space. Only slight issue is that cyclists do not stay on the designated cycle route and so you must be aware that there may be the occasional fast-moving bikes on the paths - especially relevant to those... We walk through this beautiful park two or three times a week on our way into town and each occasion I think how lovely it is. It is so great to see everyone using it from dog walkers to runners and walkers, young and old. I marvel at the group of mums and babies who meet to exercise together in... More

Christchurch park has something for everyone and is beautiful through all seasons. From play area to running routes, tennis and basketball practice,to the arboretum, wild areas and ponds, not forgetting the famous owl who sits in his tree. I miss walking through it on a daily basis so make an effort to visit often. See picture of a cormorant attached.

This really is the very best park in the area and superbly maintained....it offers everything, an arboretum, tennis courts, duck pond, play area, mansion with museum pieces (including some great art!) peace and quiet, areas to play games (there's even a table tennis table) or sit and chill. In addition, it has its own resident owl (Mabel)! Only downside is... More

This is a lovely park in the middle of town with a cafe and also The Mansion to look at, so plenty to do . There are also quiet places to go and enjoy the sun and air and also places to play tennis, football or picnic.
