Former Saxon church site from as early as 1100. Than Christchurch Catholic church. However Henry 8 destroyed the Abbey. Now a park. Beautiful gardens and walks. Dogs welcome. Toilets ,cafe , swings and seating.

Great place to walk the dogs. But wish there was a better and a bigger cafe that was open longer hours. Lots of lovely squirrels lurking too :-)
