What a delight to find this old style park in the middle of a city on a summer afternoon. Plenty of green space for the youngsters to run around. Lovely water features with bird life. Flowers and trees to look at. Shade and seats to rest on. Refreshments available. Great.

Large green space in the centre of town. Loads of chestnuts in the autumn. Sit on the hill and watch the sunset.

Beautifully intact Tudor Mansion. Good value as is still free to visit. Some lovely artifacts including a collection of Original works by John Constable and Gainsborough . Scaffolding currently on outside but didn't retract from visit and some necessary conservation can always be excused!

This is one of the beautiful parks I have ever been to. Lovely location, very quiet although located in the heart of Ipswich, beautiful shape, lots of benches and trees, a perfect place to do some activity like running as it's located on the hill or just a perfect place to walk around or do some outdoor painting. Perfect place... More

There was lots going on here, families playng with the kids, children on bikes, older folks just ambling along, doggy owners with very happy looking hounds! The park seems huge and therefore you can find your own little space to enjoy the outside. Really clean toilet facilities and very well cared for play park for the children. Well worth a... More

Great place to take a rest from shopping or a break from work just a stones throw from the town centre. Plenty of benches and open spaces to rest, read or enjoy a coffee from the cafe in the park.
