Beautiful setting, lovely church, sad day but unforgettable. Not a large church but if you are passing well worth a visit.

My Father is buried there is an unmarked grave. When I say unmarked I mean no headstone. You have a tree planted over the grave. Great send off. RIP William Henry Milner (Dad).

St. Hilary's Church & Graveyard
Jul 2017 • Couples
On Thursday afternoon, Hubby and I were driving out of Llandudno towards Deganwy when we decided to pull in on the small car park by this charming church. The church itself was not open to the public so we had a wander around the old over-grown graveyard. The yew trees were towering over us. We walked down to the bottom left hand side where we saw an area partitioned off by some black railings with a gold M on the gates. Inside here were the graves of the Mostyn family dynasty. As we walked back up towards the Church, half way on the left hand side, we saw a leaning stone cross with 2 birds either side of it. This was the grave of Signor Giciantro Ferrari (1847-1923). He was known locally as The Bird Man of Llandudno because he entertained crowds on The Prom with his performing canaries.

Interesting Gravestones
Oct 2016 • Friends
I'm on my way to Conwy.A quaint church nearly in the countryside
.Signor Ferrari Gravestone with a pair of canaries on the cross. He was best known as “The Bird Man of Llandudno”. A native of Genoa, Italy, he had lived in the town for 43 years.

His unique show featured performing canaries that he had trained himself. It was a regular feature on the promenade.

Small beutiful church
Jul 2015 • Friends
This church is small and in the winter days can be very cold but it is worth attending if you can. Its also ideal for small sized weddings since parking is not a problem in this area. The grave yard is where the Mostyn family rest in peace, you will find their place of rest towards the back left hand side of the graveyard.

A history back to the 6th century, when Maelgwn Gwynedd, the prince of these parts, took ill here, possibly from jaundice, and died. Gildas mentions him with execration, but then Gildas execrated practically everyone, Church well kept.
