About
St David's Methodist Church is a church at the heart of the neighbourhood of Craig y Don, serving both the local community and the many holiday-makers who visit the area. All are made welcome. Worship is at 10am every Sunday morning, and 6pm every Sunday evening except for the third Sunday of the month, when we have Messy Church at 4pm instead (anyone wanting a more gentle form of worship on that Sunday is welcome at our sister church, St John's, for their 6:30pm service.) We also hold a popular short meditation/reflection after coffee morning every Wednesday (10-11:30am for the coffee morning, 11:30am for the meditation.) St David's is host to many local groups as well as running its own groups, e.g. toddlers and carers, catering for the various needs of the neighbourhood. Our garden is renowned in the area, and our new sensory beds, which are wheelchair accessible, are now well established. Feel free to pop in and sit for a while.

Sensory Garden
Jun 2018 • Couples
On a recent sunny Monday morning, Hubby and I decided to take a stroll around the suburbs of Llandudno (Craig-y-Don area). We walked along Queens Road and turned into Mostyn Avenue. We stopped to take a closer look at this English Church which was built in 1924. We noticed it had no stained glass windows. Unfortunately, the church was not open but we were able to walk around the small sensory garden at the side. There were 5 individual plant beds each representing the senses = sound/sight/smell/touch/taste. We particularly liked the large white lilies by the back wall. There was also a bench to sit on and reflect. We then continued our walk along The Prom towards the Little Orme.

Thank you for this lovely comment. We are delighted that you enjoyed our sensory garden built as part of our 90th anniversary celebrations four years ago. Our aim is to be at the heart of the neighbourhood of Craig y Don, contributing to its life and ethos where we can, so your comments fit beautifully with that aim.

Church
Aug 2017
We were visiting Llandudno today wjith about 45 people and we were to call here and have our fish and chips. We were welcomed in into the large hall offered tea and coffee while we waited for our food. The church attached is very interesting. They also still have there old like organ. Didn't hear it play. But we would have stayed for a service.

coffee morning
Jul 2016
Called in on Saturday morning for a coffee, try to help the funds in our own little way, we were welcomed at the door and shown to a table, ordered our coffee that was served to us by a young girl, all we had to do was drink it then pay on the way out.

A good evening out
Jul 2016 • Couples
A beautiful church. We went along to the Choral evening of Songs from the shows. We did have to change seats at half time as the voices of male section of the choir were lost due to poor acoustics. Once we had done this things were much better

Good community church.
May 2016 • Family
There are quite a lot of activities at the church. For example, on alternative Mondays there is a dancing for fun group run by the U3A. It is a very friendly place.
