A bad ending to a good day out!
Apr 2021
The car park is run by Euro Car Parks who do have a record of aggressive penalty charging. After struggling to pay and receive a ticket, we were given a 'notice' for not paying the parking fee. We challenged it with a bank statement. They then said we had misentered the Reg number and were changing a £20 admin fee. The machine we used caused other people after us problems too. I have no problem paying for parking at the Church but ECP are hardly the sort of partner a Church should have. Sad,

A large and impressive Church
Oct 2019
This is a BIG church - both outside and in! In fact it is almost too big to photograph. It was built to cater for the rapid growth in holiday visitors in the later half of the C19th.

The inside is impressive with polished marble pillars separating nave and side aisles and a wood roof. The chancel was extended in 1932 and has a 'boat shaped' roof and has a lovely carved reredos behind the high altar.

The chapel to the left of the chancel is the memorial chapel to the 219 men of the town who lost their lives in the First World war and their names are recorded on plaques on the wall. Standards of the Welsh Regiments and ex servicemen’s associations hang from the roof.

The C19th stained glass floods the church with colour. The Mary and Martha window in the south aisle is particularly attractive.

Don't miss the Carved Angel at the back of the north aisle. From a distance I didn't like it but it does need to be seen close to. The wings and body are carved with 31 small scenes from teh life of Jesus and are delightful.

Beautiful house of worship

This is a beautiful building both inside and out. We were privileged to attend a Sunday service and we felt most welcome. The acoustics in the building are very good which is one of the benefits of being inside during a service

Beautiful church

This beautiful church is the parish church for Llandudno, it has some fantastic stained glass, although it would be good to know some more about the story of the glass from Cheadle. When you do look out for the two carved mice, the trademark of the craftsman who carved them. And make a point of seeing the carved Angel- utterly amazing 😊

We have been a few times to the morning service when we have been in Llandudno staying for the weekend. Everyone is very friendly some of it could be in Welsh but most in English. Fairly high church

I do like a nice building and this was certainly looks very nice. It was just around the corners from us and have taken a few photos. It looks well kept in the garden.

The Car Park!
Apr 2019 • Couples
So sad to see that from this month, the church will be using a corporate car park management company. Why?

A warm and welcoming Church with a holiness factor

The Eucharist service was very good indeed. Very traditional Anglican with Catholic leaning but not too spikey. As a former chorister I was delighered to hear the psalm sung to ANglican chant and to listen to a parish churh Choir that could sing Peter Cornelius's 'The three Kings' on Epiphany Sunday

Beautiful old church

A beautiful, church, a peaceful haven. Look out for the wooden carved angel with lots of miniature tableaux telling the story of the life of Christ.
There are also male voice choir concerts here in the summer.
