St John's Methodist Church is housed in a beautiful listed building on Llandudno's vibrant Mostyn Street, right at the heart of the town. It enjoys a reputation for sound preaching, good singing and a warm welcome for the many visitors who join us during the holiday season. The church was built in 1866 as part of a special drive to establish churches in the new holiday resorts of Victorian Britain. In the 1990s the church was beautifully restored - it is noted for its wooden ceiling and glorious modern stained glass windows. We are also wellknown for our male voice choir concerts, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the holiday season. Worship is at 11am every Sunday, and the church is also open to visitors on Thursday afternoons after our healing service at 1:45pm, and on Friday mornings when we hold our coffee mornings with extra-delicious homemade cakes...

We have visited this beautifully kept friendly church several times now to enjoy their male voice choirs. We have seen a selection of choirs always of a very high standard and the concerts represent excellent value for an evenings entertainment

The nearest parking is across the road in the Victoria centre multi-story car park. You park by going round the back (follow signs off Lloyd Street) but can get down on to Mostyn Street and the shops and church easily. The... More

I think this is an example of self promotion particularly as this reviewer is the current chairman of this choir. An inappropriate use of the TA website. Should not be used for self promotion. Please remove this review.
