Great quiet beach

I love the main beach in Llandudno with all its wonderful Victoria finery but if you want a quieter time chill out at west shore, you won't be disappointed

Beautiful views from the beach. Great for dog walkers. Fantastic sunset, very peaceful and enjoys the micro climate of Llandudno.

Played there often as a child, wonderful sunset views, dramatic mountains in the distance and endless sands when the tide is out.Less crowded and popular than the North Shore. Not what it was in my childhood days - wonderful tall sand dunes now all built upon. When the wind's in the right direction you do get an odour from the sewage plant... West shore beach is lovely, when the tide is out there is plenty of nice sand to sit on. It is a great place for flying a kite as the beach is enormous. There are no cafes near the beach but it is a lovely place for a picnic and it has amazing views towards the snowdonia range. The parking... More

This is a great place to go for a walk. You can in fact walk all the way to Conwy. It is flat but needs a bit of navigating through some sand after inclement weather.

The golden beach is a pleasure to walk along. There is a good play area for the children . There is a café next to the car park . There is a restaurant/bar opposite the play area . There is plenty of green open space to play in and a lake . It is a good place to commence walks... More

This beach is totally unspoilt natural and really worth a visit . It has some sandy areas but has a pebble area . Dogs are allowed at certain times of the year and the promenade is bike scooter pram and wheelchair friendly

West Shore beach is in a less developed part of Llandudno. It is about a 25 minute walk from the Town Centre. It is not too crowded and is not too commercialized. It has a vast expanse of sand when the tide is out. A couple of cafe and pubs/restaurants.It is good for walking and it is well worth a... More
