Lovely little alcove, perfect for families. When we arrived we were one of three families and a couple of older couples enjoying the ambience. The beach has lots of sand to keep the younger ones entertained. We took a pop up beach shelter and it worked a treat as it was a tad blustery. The public toilets are nearby by... More

If you visit with children then the beach has more sand than the North shore and a much quieter paddling pool. Parking is better and cheaper. Just be careful of the very soft sinky sand further up towards Deganwy.

Well worth a visit, the beach goes on for miles! It's sandy mainly with a few rocky areas in places. Great place to walk your dog, wonderful views.

Lovely weekend visiting Llandudno. The sun was shining and everyone was enjoying using this lovely beach: sunbathers, kite surfers, children building sand castles and families having picnics.

This is a lovely quiet and clean beach with excellent views of the sea and the Great Orme as well as the Welsh countryside. It is much queiter and much more peaceful than the North Shore and the pier and I would definitely recommend spending some time here. There is also a nice boating lake where you can watch and...
