Queen of North Wales Venues , i think not, the beach area is full of rocks, cobbles and all maner of stones, no where to sit and relax in comfort except a small area at one end of the prom, no prom kioks or tea stalls. The so called beach is a disgusting disgrace to what otherwise is a nice... More

One day, some misguided individual on the local Council, thought it might be a good idea to bolster the sea defences by dumping tens of thousands of very ugly, quarried, rocks onto the sands of Llandudno. People now stroll along the beautifully elegant and wide promenade and gaze wistfully at what was once a delightful beach for families with continuous... More

Took a day out to Llandudno. The North Shore Beach is very much the primary seaside of town and everyone appears to know it. With limited sandy area and thousands out to have a good time it was not a relaxing place to be. The speedboat rides from the jetty were fun though and went down well with the kids.

No way the sand is soggy caused by the boats on the sand even worse in bad weather not a place for a tan but a place for 5 mins fun for getting dirty and to run in no for a place to lie in the sun.

Stunning beach with mixture of stones and sand. Be prepared to walk over the stones to reach the sand but it is well worth it. The local shops and cafes are fantastic. We parked in the Victoria shopping car park and paid £4 for 5 hours. Plenty of time to make sandcastles, have lunch and hit the shops.

Spent some time here and relaxing on the esplanade. Had the good fortune to witness the launching of the local lifeboat (as seen in the picture). Although the lifeboat launch was for an ongoing incident, fortunately there were no casualties and the lifeboat returned safely to station.
