Entry is £2.50 which is about right as quite small but interesting and it sticks to local history about Llandudno. You can make further donations anyway. Nice friendly staff and well laid out.

This is a small museum. Very interesting. Lots of photographs and information about Llandudno and the gentleman behind the museum. A must!

Thanks very much for your kind review Barbara. We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. You might have seen in the press a day or two ago that we've been successful in gaining a substantial award from the National Lottery - this will allow us to extend and expand the museum, so a busy time in store. We'll be closed for a period for refurbishment, and return bigger and better than ever. Thanks again

Fantastic gem which my partner suggested we visit. Amazing to see how much history there was to Llandudno. Was also nice to follow the history through the ages and see how the area has developed over time. Read the WW2 section which again was interesting and at the same time sombering. On top of all of this you can use your Welsh (excellent as we live in England), I was annoyed with myself that I hadn’t been in before and would recommend to anyone who is visiting (although you’re best to check opening times beforehand). Only £2.50 for adult entry - bargain! Amgueddfa Llandudno diolch yn fawr!…

This Edwardian townhouse hides its presence as a museum , but is opposite the Dunoon Hotel. Once inside, and up the steps, the carefully sequenced items tell the story of Llandudno and make the town come to life. The story of the man (artist) who donated the bequest is also interesting. Worth an hour of anyone's time wishing to see how the town developed, including the Victorian love of the theatre,(5 of them over time)…

Hi Janet - Thanks so much for your positive review. Tell your friends about us! With luck, if you see what I mean, we will be closing for a while from the summertime onwards as part of a major refurbishment project. After that's complete, there will be even more to see and do at the museum Once again, thanks for your comments

An excellent and engaging local museum, with an eclectic collection of artefacts. The information given is interesting an informative. A particular highlight was the first floor art collection. Must go back and take more time!
