Hasn't changed much since I was a child. Apart from removing the rather dangerous slides and roundabout which I remember flying off with regularity in my youth it's the same as it ever was. Gardens, grass lawns, a stone circle made for an Eisteddfod it's quiet and peaceful.

These gardens are built on the side of the Great Orme, and contain many features relating to Lewis Carrol characters. It has some interesting trees, and we spent ages just watching the squirrels! There are areas for children to run around, and for the older ones just to sit and enjoy the views.

Another great place to wander, very steep in parts but definitely worth the effort. Lots of nice winding paths with stunning views out to sea.

Well worth a visit. Peaceful, beautiful setting and a lovely experience for everybody. Children will love the open green and it's a great place for a picnic but please - do remember to take your litter home with you.

We walked up to happy valley gardens from the west shore its a bit of a hike but if your moderately fit it's no problem the gardens are quite nice but the views from the cliff path from west shore are stunning you eventually come back in to the town and if you need a cuppa there is a fabulous... Even at this time of year the gardens are worth a visit. In the Summer it would be more enjoyable, the views are great

Pretty enough place, you have to be quite fit to walk all the way up to the ski centre. The gardens are a little unkempt but charming in their own way. For me it's all about the view though. Fantastic seaviews, out across the pier, worth the walk for that alone. If you've got a naughty streak (like I have)... More

what beautiful gardens, clean and radiant especially on a sunny day like it was for us, there is some flat parts of the gardens but some parts are rather hilly so not really recommended for people who find it difficult to walk up hills, yet again there is plenty of benches to rest.
