These gardens are beautiful and well kept by the gardeners, plenty of plants and trees and lots of places to sit. You can sit on one of the many beaches or there is a very large grass area which you can see the pier and view from.

It is also part of the alice in wondered trail with lots of sculptures in there.

A lovely place, nice gardens most of the year. Better when there's not too many people, or inconsiderate dog owners around. Great views. Nice place to sit and contemplate. The paths are rather steep though so can be a struggle for anyone with mobility issues.

Well kept and interesting public gardens, stretching quite steeply uphill.
A very pleasant place to sit as well, with lovely views over the bay.
However, avoid having a coffee from the cafe at the bottom, where we had probably the worst cappuccino ever made. It was just a cup of hot. And quickly got thrown into the nearest bush.

Visited here on our way to Llandudno Ski Slope and the top of the Great Orme. Beautifully well maintained gardens with fantastic views of Llandudno, it's pier and sweeping promenade, Little Orme and on our sunny and clear day, the Cambrian coast and mountains. Plenty of places to sit and relax and watch the world go by. A charming 'paradise' and worth a visit.

If you are a visitor to Llandudno like we were, then you should visit the Happy Valley Gardens to take home those memorable pictures. If you’re a fan of Alice in Wonderland like my wife is, then you would appreciate the wooden carved (by chainsaw) statues dotted around the park as they are through the whole town. Excellent views of the Llandudno Pier, walk up the hill by the chairlift station and grab some more photos of the town and esplanade. If you don’t go, I reckon you’re missing out and it’s free.

walking along the pier with my son and grandson on the way back we noticed the name llandudno enscribed into the grass near to the cable car station so we decided to climb up there are quite a few steps to climb but as we got higher up we came across these beautiful gardens which are the happy valley gardens we never knew they existed and what a nice surprise it was it does get quite steep in parts but the views are spectacular there is a cafe too and well worth a visit

Lovely gardens, well kept, great views of Llandudno and the sea. Plenty of benches to sit on. Can be a little hilly in parts, but if you struggle, there are flatter areas.
Cafe, ice creams, and good toilet facilities.
Free car parking a little further up at the Ski Centre - just walk back a little to the Happy Valley Park area.

We have been there last week with our two little children.footpath are very narrow as it's difficult to use for double pushchair and wheelchair users.others side of the road has shed with stairs so we can't use it.
Twice we need to get on to the road as give other user path as they us climbing down.
At last when we reached there it's we was amazing because view from there is great.my kids was very happy running in the garden.
You can enjoy the great sea view, the great orme and Llandudno pier from there.
The garden is well maintained and decorated as well as quite and we can enjoy stunning views of Llandudno.
But I must say it's really hard for people who have disabilities issues and family with young children who is goes there with pram like me.
