It probably appeals most to people who lived through the war or know something about that time. Nevertheless, even without strong knowledge or connections it fascinated me. I can only recommend it.

An interesting visit on a rainy day. Museum is small so a bit crowded. There is a good range of wartime memorabilia which was well displayed with some good information boards. Well worth a visit.

Hi, sorry for delay in replying but I have been on holiday before re-opening for the season, this coming Tuesday. Yes, the museum is accessible to standard wheelchairs. Kind regards Adrian

Hi Sean. We close on November 5th this season so unfortunately will be closed on the 18th November. This is to enable us to update the museum ready for the season ahead. Best regards Adrian
