Great trip up the Gt Orme, nice views on the way up are very reasonably priced. The views at the top are magnificent. Definitely recommend.

Loved the ride up and down on the tram... If you want good pictures while traveling up, sit on the right... Or and the left back down. The view is outstanding as you will see from my pictures.

Like the Llandudno pier, this tram does not open til 10 in the morning and there are queues to board it. A good trip once you are on it; but half your day is wasted when they could easily extend the opening hours.

Much nicer than driving up Great Orme and a lot easier than walking! Trams run every 10mins at busy times. Staff very friendly and toilets available at all three stations.

We took some Australian friends up the Orme on the tramway. We had been as a couple with dog a month ago and loved it. The trip includes an interesting exhibition about the tramway at the half way station and there is another about the nature of the area next to the station at the top. Highly recommended for a... Built in 1902 and now operating for more than one century and a decade, it is the oldest surviving cable street tramway in Britain. For this fact alone, you should try to experience it as we can only hope it will be around and running for another century or more! We walked to the Tram station from the Promenade. There... More

Took the children up the great Orme on the longest tram ride in britain. The queue was very long, but we were able to buy an ice cream while we waited at the little shop. There was a stop half way up where you changed tram, and could read a little of the history. Once at the top there was... More
